A Camera Instead of Messy Impressions
Once we prepare your tooth, we use an ultra-precise camera to capture a digital image of it. This eliminates the need for messy putty and impression materials that many patients dislike, including the uncomfortable sensation of a tray in their mouth.
The image accurately reflects how your tooth should look and how your bite should feel. It is then uploaded to a computer that designs the porcelain crown specifically for your tooth.
A 3-D Tooth Printer Mills Your Tooth in Less than 12 Minutes!
Two specialized diamond burrs or points are used to mill your custom-designed crown from a solid block of porcelain while you wait. This entire milling process takes place in our office, eliminating the need to send anything to a dental lab. The 3D printer can create your crown in less than 12 minutes. With CEREC technology, we can craft your unique crown right in the dental chair, so you can have it ready while you relax!
Custom Same-Day Dental Crowns!
To ensure your crown matches your unique look, you can choose the color of the porcelain from which your tooth will be milled. This allows your new dental crown to blend seamlessly with your other teeth. With complete control over this entire process, we can provide you with convenient, custom-designed porcelain crowns tailored just for you!
